Food intolerance; It is the reaction of the digestive system to a substance contained in a food consumed. In other words, the food consumed cannot be fully digested by the digestive system. As a result, the digestive system becomes irritated and damage occurs. For example, Lactose intolerance.

Food allergy is the immune system's response to a substance contained in a consumed food. The body activates the defense system against the consumed substance and creates antibodies. In this way, when the same food is consumed again, the previously produced antibody causes the histamine chemical to be released. Histamine also causes hypersensitivity, especially to some food proteins. For example; Allergy to products such as wheat, soy, eggs and strawberries


- Food Intolerance: It manifests itself with symptoms such as stomach contractions, stomach burning, nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, and bloating.

- Food Allergy: It manifests itself with symptoms such as swelling of the tongue, throat or eyes, shortness of breath, low blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, itching and flaking of the skin.

In cases of food intolerance or allergy, the only thing to do is to remove the food in question from the diet.
