Dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) that persist in the environment and accumulate in the food chain are toxic chemicals. Dioxins refer to two groups of compounds. Dioxins are found at low levels in many foods. However, prolonged exposure to these substances causes negative effects on the nervous, immune and endocrine systems. Dioxin is a toxic substance that can cause cancer. Its persistence and accumulation in the food chain, especially in animal fat, cause food safety problems.

Food, foodstuffs, feed, feedstuffs may cause health problems due to the possibility of dioxins. "Dioxin Analysis" is carried out in authorized laboratories in order to prevent its ingestion into the human body through food.
